Mike Sopchak Biography
Born near Scranton Pa, I moved to the Triple Cities in 1948. I graduated from Johnson City High School in 1961 and in 1965 received my B.A. from the College of William and Mary where I played freshman basketball, varsity baseball and was a 4 year member of the Men's Honor Council being Chairman my senior year.
I served 2 years in the Peace Corps in Tunisia, taught junior high school English and French, worked in industry, and built homes for 20 years. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 44 years, and we have 3 grown children. My hobbies are golf, tennis and reading. I am presently a Broome County legislator representing the north side of Johnson City and parts of the town of Dickenson and city of Binghamton.
I love the Binghamton Area and its people and think it is a great place to live and raise a family.
I have been a realtor for the last 34 years doing residential, income, and commercial property. I have built, managed, bought, and sold rental property. I welcome the oppotunity to help you with any of your real estate needs.
