Virginia "Ginny" Robert Biography

Ginny L. Robert has been a business advisor and trainer for 24 years. She has helped clients throughout New York State develop strong, bankable business plans and secure financing. As a licensed real estate salesperson, she can also help clients lease, buy and sell commercial property.

In 2009, the NYS Entrepreneurial Assistance Program recognized her for starting the most small businesses in the State. She was also honored in 2005 by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the Women’s Business Advocate in the Syracuse district, and in 2004 by the NYS Small Business Development Center as one of the Top 10 Business Advisors in the State.  

She is the author of Let’s Write Your Business Plan (9^th ed, 2010) and Building Your Future in Self-Employment (2nd ed, 2010). She holds an MBA from Binghamton University with specialization in the business plan, marketing and finance.

A native of Chicago, Ginny has lived in Broome County since 1980 and built her own home in this area twice.
