Additions to the EXIT Realty Homeward Bound Policies and Procedures

In accordance with the NYS Government Amendment Section 442-h, EXIT Realty Homeward Bound of Vestal, Oneonta and all other future offices policies and procedures are as follows.

PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS - IDENTIFICATION

First and foremost, the safety of the Salespersons, Associate Brokers, and Employees is an absolute priority while working inside and outside of the offices.  We do take measures within the office to provide safety to our agents.  Those measures are having a safety plan with the inside staff, taking a fellow agent to a showing or listing, and using one's instincts while accompanying our prospective clients within showings.  It is the policy of the brokerage that we do not ask for personal identification from our clients and customers, current or prospective.  Please ask the advice of the staff, ownership or an experienced agent to familiarize yourself with the safety plan..  

 

EXCLUSIVE BROKER AGREEMENTS

As an office, we do not mandate or standardize an exclusive broker agreement to be signed with our clients and customers.   We at EXIT Realty Homeward Bound encourage earning loyalty from our clients and customers by demonstrating competence. We feel that we are trained  well enough to establish good rapport and customer dedication.  The integrity of relationships are shown through our actions.  Therefore, we don’t feel a signed agreement is required.   If an agent feels like they need more training to increase their relationship 

building, please come to training or ask a staff, broker or experienced agent.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE-APPROVAL/PRE-QUALIFICATION

At EXIT Realty Homeward Bound, we believe the best way to establish rapport and customer satisfaction is to meet the client/customer at the requested property.  Within the beginning stages of a business relationship and/or substantive contact, we encourage all buyers to connect with their personal bank and/or a qualified mortgage lender, however this is not required to continue the relationship.  If you need assistance with this process, please see the staff, broker or experienced agent.  

Due to our Agency Relationship, we must obey if a Seller of any real property, instructs a salesperson or associate broker of EXIT Realty Homeward Bound to only allow a viewing of their property with a written pre-qualification from a buyer from their agent.
